Come, let us rejoice with the angels

On this day we celebrate the glorious Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, bodily and soul into Heaven!

         God's Messengers

The unexpected kindness from unexpected place,

A hand outstretched in friendship,

a smile on someone's face,

A word of understanding spoken in a time of trial

Are uexpected miracles,

that make life more worthwhile.

We know not how it happened

that in an hour of need

Somebody out of nowhere

proved to be a friend indeed...

For God has many messengers we fail to recognize,

But He sends them when we need them,

and His ways are wondrous and wise...

So keep looking for an angel

and keep listening to hear,

For on life's busy, crowded streets,

you will find God's presence near. 

Light carries God's

imprint and darkness

symbolizes the absence of

GOD.

SAINT CLARE OF ASSISI

       Saint Clare was born in Assisi in 1193. She followed her fellow citizen, Saint Francis, in a life of poverty and became mother and foundress of an order of nuns. She led a life that was austere, yet rich in works of charity and piety. She died in 1253. Here is a wise and faithful virgin who went with lighted lamp to meet her lord.

Mothers

Warmer than the Summer sun,
softer than the breeze;
sweeter than a rose in bloom,
a Mothers all of these.
She will always stand by you throughout your childhood years,
she'll be around to comfort you if you should shed a tear;
She will always pick you up, no matter why you fall;
because the love of Mothers is the strongest love of all
Yes Mothers are Gods angels, but remember they're on loan;
and one day in the future God will call them home.
So if you have a Mother,
please show her that you care,
and let her know you love her,
and the memories you share.

Revelations 3:8

My Mom

My Mom is a survivor,
or so I've heard it said.
But I can hear her crying at night
when all others are in bed.

I watch her lay awake at night
and go to hold her hand.
She doesn't know I am with her
to help her understand.

But like the sands on the beach
that never wash away...
I watch over my surviving mom,
who thinks of me each day.

She wears a smile for others...
a smile of disguise!
But through Heaven's door I see
tears flowing from her eyes.

My Mom tries to cope with death
to keep my memory alive.
But anyone who knows her knows
it is her way to survive.

As I watch over my surviving Mom
through Heaven's open door...
I try to tell her that angels
protect me forevermore.

I know that doesn't help her...
or ease the burden she bears.
So if you get a chance, go visit her...
and show her that you care.

For no matter what she says...
no matter what she feels.
My surviving mom has a broken heart
that time won't ever heal.

I pray that you may enjoy good

health and that all may go well

with you, even as your soul is

getting along well...

To our transfiguered Lord we pray:

- - be present in the darkness that surrounds those who suffer.  R/

In your majesty, we praise you, O Lord:

- - reveal your power in the lives of those who are powerless.  R/

In your splendor, we glorify you, O Lord:

- - shine for ever upon those who have died.  R/

O Lord, my God, please guide us and protect us. Only You know my prayers. Stay with Danny. Danny stay with him. Let his beloved Angels lead you. Stay close. We Love you and miss you so much!!

May the God of Infinite goodness scatter the darkness of sin and brighten our hearts with holiness. Amen.

“We Remember Them”

In the rising of the sun and in its going down,
